Sleep Apnea and Snoring – What a Headache!

by Christian Goodman

While conducting research and through the program creation process, often it becomes apparent that I need to expand on my original idea. Given the number of related health problems (normally due to related causes) the original plan lends itself to working through additional or addressing more issues.

A perfect example is understanding that snoring and/or apnea and headaches and migraines have a link. I was advised by a client that the stop snoring program ended up curing my headaches too.

This is how a new program can be initiated based on another. This observation led to additional research to validate if the two actually are related? Can one end up with a headache or migraine due to snoring? Recent research shows that people who experience ongoing headaches (opposed to the occasional headache) overall have a tendency to snore. In addition, sleep apnea sufferers (where a person stops breathing several times during sleep) also suffer from headaches upon waking, including migraines.

I have personally researched this aspect and know that the arteries in the neck harden over time. This restricts blood flow and oxygen up to the brain. This presents yet another scenario of trying to determine which problem causes the other. Or, might they cause each other?

Additional information worth thinking about is that in some cases other factors contribute to snoring such as alcohol consumption, obesity and smoking. There are all factors also associated with hypertension, which also causes headaches.

Also known, is that chronic headaches create restless sleep which can cause snoring. Those who take pain medication for headaches also report snoring as a side effect. If you have been struggling with headaches, migraines, snoring or sleep apnea, I suggest you try my all natural programs such as the Stop Snoring Program or the Migraine and Headaches Relief Program. They are easy to use and can change the quality of your life quickly.
